Quality Street launches new limited edition bar

Quality Street will extend its range with My Purple Bar, a new limited edition bar combines four ‘The Purple Ones’ with smooth milk chocolate, creamy caramel centre and whole hazelnut. The bar will have an RRP of 65p. Over the last year the total brand value has risen by 14% to be worth £98m.

Bag introductions from Fox’s and Rocky

Northern Foods is moving into the mini sharing bag segment with Fox’s Melts and Rocky. According to the company, Fox’s Mini Melts will be the first Grown Up Indulgent (GUI) biscuit offering in the Mini Sharing Bag arena and it notes that GUI is currently worth £139 million and growing at 10.5% year on year.
