Brexit sweet tins witness soaring pre-order demand
UK-based Simpkins travel sweets has confirmed a deal with Penguin Books for a tongue-in-cheek range of licensed Ladybird Book travel tins, which are due to hit shelves this month.
Classic artwork from the books paired with a cheeky twist will ensure these will be a pick up and most certainly keep, collectors range of tins.
The company said: “So far we have many pre-orders for these lines and with the current political climate, with the Brexit tin in hot demand.”
Since 1921 Simpkins have been manufacturing and exporting to over 50 countries all natural gluten free confections primarily for the pharmacy and travel retail sectors. All products are still manufactured to the founders recipes and ingredients. Now run by the 4th generation, business is focused on developing the Worlds original travel tin ranges, botanical ranges ,sugar free confections and pharmacy lines, as well as gifting.
