Paul.A.Young prepares for Father’s Day
Chocolatier Paul.A.Young has created a new chocolate featuring California prunes in celebration of Father’s Day.
Paul’s hand-crafted California Prune and Buttermilk Truffle is said to promise a flavour explosion that is naturally sweet and tangy, with an appealing texture, courtesy of the addition of prunes.
The luxury chocolate features 65% Guittard Peru chocolate shell, California prune concentrate and puree blended with buttermilk and Duffy’s 55% Ocumare Venezuelan milk chocolate, hand rolled in prune powder.
Commenting on the California prune inspired confection, California Prune Board’s European marketing director, Esther Ritson-Elliott says, “We are delighted that Paul has once again included our prunes in his innovative chocolate creations. It demonstrates his consistent approach to sourcing only the finest ingredients and is testament to his continued commitment to the pursuit of excellence.”
The chocolates are available in Paul.A.Young’s three stores in London, UK: Wardour Street, Soho, Camden Passage, Islington and The Royal Exchange in Bank.
